1) Regulatory & Compliance Analyst is needed to perform the following duties:

Help the Pharmacist with continuous monitoring of workflow and employee training.
• Help the Pharmacist with continuous monitoring of workflow and employee training to ensure all staff comply with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Responsible for DEA, HIPAA, OIG, FWA, MTM compliance management including timely reporting and documentation.
• Handle internal audits, billing reviews, and coordination of diagnosis codes for prescription and non-prescription drug claims.
• Assist in inventory management and maintain controlled substance records (CII–CV) in accordance with DEA requirements.
• Maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and ensure all regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies.

Assure overall regulatory compliance and support internal audit process for pharmacy operations.
• Draft and update Policy and Procedure (P&P) manuals for pharmacy operations to achieve regulatory compliance.
• Record and maintain annual inventory of controlled substances and perform real-time inventory checks after each dispensing.
• Develop SOPs for conducting Medication Therapy Management (MTM) sessions and Mirixa healthcare services to improve medication adherence and pharmacy star ratings.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, DEA, New York State Board of Pharmacy, and all applicable state and federal laws.

Support research and development of automated processes and reporting to improve pharmacy efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Implementation of system-wide programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Generate and securely maintain Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (TX PMP) report files for screening potential drug abuse and automated submission to TX Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Conduct retrospective data analysis of prescribing patterns of primary care providers.
• Perform annual CMS reviews and continuous updates for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) regulations per state requirements.

Develop operating procedures ensuring corrective and preventive action in pharmacy practice.
• Develop quality assurance techniques for safe and effective inventory control systems.
• Prevent Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) through literature research on dosing and diagnosis codes to substantiate claims.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for retail pharmacy operations.
• Draft protocols for Dispense As Written (DAW) codes in accordance with state legislation.
• Draft preventative action procedures for MTM sessions and document root cause analysis.

Provide State, Federal, Medicaid, and Medicare compliance support including DEA regulations and controlled substance documentation.
• Strict maintenance of HIPAA regulations and timely updates; maintain OIG checklist for employees and vendors and report any exclusion list.
• Review perspectives monthly to meet FWA requirements under 45 CFR Part 46 regulated by OHRP.
• Ensure compliance with DEA, CMS, New York State Board of Pharmacy and all applicable state and federal laws.
• Maintain up-to-date SOPs for prescription handling, filling, storage, refrigerator logs, daily logs, and controlled substance storage.
• Review and assist pharmacists with DEA-106 forms for loss or theft of federal controlled substances.

Assist in internal audit of overrides, billing reviews, and coordination of diagnosis codes for prescription and non-prescription drug claims.
• Timely review of unbilled and under-paid prescription claims from CMS and third-party payers.
• Work with Elevate Provider Network for medication reconciliation and identifying potential MTM opportunities using MTM outcomes.
• Internal auditing of overrides and DUR codes used in billing in Prime Rx.
• Maintain use of proper HCPCS codes and ICD-10 diagnosis codes for billing EMEDNY and EPACES.

Involve in procedures for review of third-party audits, monitoring drug recall and product recall processes:
• Ensure all overpayments are refunded to the appropriate third-party plan, Medicaid, or CMS program within 60 days per the Affordable Care Act 2010.
• Monitor FDA periodically for voluntary medication recalls and implement the most effective procedures to protect the public from defective or detrimental products.
• Reconcile inventory based on LOT numbers and manage Class I, II, and III drug recall notifications.

Bachelor’s Degree is required in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Drug Regulatory Affairs

2) Pharmacist Manager

Pharmacist Manager is needed to perform the following duties:
· Prescription Processing, Verification, and Dispensing:
· Receives prescriptions from patients and healthcare providers, enters prescription data into PrimeRx system, and processes insurance claims. Performs drug utilization review to ensure safety, appropriateness, and absence of interactions. Oversees medication preparation including counting, labeling, and final verification. Ensures accuracy of patient information, dosage, quantity, and directions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
· Patient Counseling and Clinical Consultation:
· Provides patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and interactions. Advises on adherence and safe medication practices. Educates patients on alternative therapies when medications are not covered and ensures understanding of treatment plans.
· Insurance Processing and Prescription Coordination:
· Processes prescription claims through insurance systems using PrimeRx. Resolves claim rejections and coordinates with insurance providers and prescribers for prior authorizations or alternative medications when coverage issues arise.
· Pharmacy Operations and Workflow Management:
· Oversees daily workflow including prescription processing, staff coordination, and task prioritization. Ensures efficient operations in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
· Inventory and Controlled Substance Management:
· Manages medication inventory including ordering, storage, and tracking. Maintains records for controlled substances and ensures proper handling of expired and recalled medications.
· Regulatory Compliance and Record Maintenance:
· Maintains compliance with federal and state laws. Keeps accurate records for prescriptions, controlled substances, and audits. Ensures confidentiality of patient information
· Staff Supervision and Training:
· Supervises pharmacy technicians and staff. Provides training on procedures, systems, and compliance requirements. Maintains an organized and efficient pharmacy environment.
Bachelor’s Degree is required in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science plus a active Pharmacist state License .

3) Database Administrator

Database Administrator is needed to perform the following duties:
· Work with multi-tiered Microsoft-based applications, performing system and business analysis and impact assessment and documenting it.
· Responsible for input patient information, medication names, and time of delivery into the pharmacy system.
· Works with business, product, and technical staff to meet the business goals through effective database implementation and operations.
· Implements and manages the health care data repository that houses health records including administrative (claims), clinical (electronic medical record), and other related data
· Coordinate and link the computer systems within the pharmacy to increase compatibility so information can be shared.
· Maintain proper records and insurance coverage information of all patients and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and patients charts for reference purposes.
· Analyze and consolidate information to develop solutions to ensure business requirements are achieved
· Partner with key stakeholders to identify how business requirements can be delivered to ensure improved user experiences and reduced cost and time impacts
· Document the new process flow and review with business owners and define target state business processes and align functional solutions.
· Develops and presents documentation supporting project initiatives including business case, project scope, business and functional requirements, user stories and “use cases” in accordance with established service levels and documentation standards.
· Assist with all phases of development in an agile environment including QA, UAT and Change Management

Bachelor’s Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Information Technology Management .

Database Administrator needed w/Master’s degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology Management or Computer Information Systems and six (6) months experience as Database Administrator or Computer System Analyst performing following job duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns
  • Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations
